Learning How to Keep Children Safe in Car Seats with NewRoads Mazda

Everyday millions of parents secure their kids in car seats to keep them safe. Many are not choosing the right seat or moving their child to the next child seat too soon, and as many as 80% have their child seat installed incorrectly.

The NewRoads Automotive Group is hosting child seat safety workshops at all our locations across York Region. Our community safety partners St. John Ambulance will be on hand to teach you with a 30 minute hands on workshop.

St. John Ambulance Car Seat Safety Teams are made up of trained and certified volunteers. Our volunteers educate and coach parents/guardians in the use of child restraint systems. Our goal is to help children travel safety all the time, by ensuring the restraint is properly install and used correctly every time the child travels in the vehicle.

NewRoads Mazda in Newmarket recently hosted one of our Child Seat Safety Workshops and enjoyed a full day of education and a little fun. NewRoads is dedicated through our partnership with St. John Ambulance to help more families have the opportunity to learn from the experts by delivering our Child Seat Safety Workshops in all of our NewRoads locations.
